Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, subscribe, join a launch email list, or contact us for support.

• Account information (name, email)
• Subscription details
• Usage data (features accessed, preferences)
• Things you save in the app, such as watchlists, price alerts, custom crafts, selling realms, and any Discord webhook you add

Launch email lists: if you sign up for a launch alert (for example WoW Forever), we store your email address and the list name. We use it only for announcements about that list. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 7 days. If you unsubscribe, we keep your address marked as unsubscribed so we don't email you again. Use the unsubscribe link in any of these emails, or email support@azerothvault.com.

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, to process your transactions, and to communicate with you.

We do not store your credit card or payment information on our servers. All payments are processed by Creem, which acts as our Merchant of Record.

These companies process some of your data so the site can work. Each one gets only what it needs.

• Firebase Authentication (Google). Handles sign-in. It receives your email address and password, or your Google account details if you sign in with Google.
• Creem. Processes payments. When you start a checkout we send it your email address and your AzerothVault account id, so the payment can be matched to your account.
• Resend. Sends our emails, such as price alerts, launch list confirmations, and the welcome email after you subscribe. It receives your email address and the content of the email.
• Discord. Used only if you add your own Discord webhook. Your price alerts and Deal Radar deals are then posted to that webhook.
• Blizzard Battle.net API. Supplies character, realm, and auction house data. When you look up a character, we send its name and realm to Blizzard. We never ask for your Battle.net login.
• Sentry. Receives error reports from the website and our servers so we can fix bugs. A report includes your account id if you are signed in, but not your email. Before a report is sent, we remove the private tokens in raid prep share links and email links.
• MongoDB Atlas. Hosts our database, which holds your account and the things you save.
• Amazon Web Services. Hosts the website and our servers.

We use first-party product analytics (PostHog, hosted in the EU) to understand how features are used and to improve the product. It records page views and clicks. When you are signed in, these events are tied to your account identifier, email, and plan so we can measure your experience as a logged-in user. Our servers also send PostHog a few account events, such as starting a trial or a subscription. PostHog stores its data in your browser's local storage on our own domain.

We also use Google Analytics to understand visits to the site, and the same Google tag measures our Google Ads campaigns. Google may set its own cookies. We have a Google AdSense account, but ads are currently turned off and no AdSense code runs on the site.

You can control or block analytics and advertising cookies at any time through your browser's privacy settings or an ad blocker.

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
